Dedicated to serving human biologists and health professionals in the international community

With our strong, flexible polyhedron organizational plan we encourage involvement, innovation, and creativity among human biologists and health professional in the international community. We share a common purpose to help foster optimal growth and development of all the children of all the people and help maintain health, vigour and happiness of adults throughout their life span

Since 1986, the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK) has enrolled about 6,000 human biologists and health professionals in anthropometric certifications courses. Our Director of Research, Francis Holway, is one of the leading ISAK criterion L4 anthropometrist who certifies Instructors (L3's) to certify technicians at L2 and L1 levels. He adds a mentoring component in his courses, workshops, and seminars at home in Argentina and internationally since how to measure is a fundamental skill for data assembly, resolution and report in the workplace,

Thus, Francis is able to pilot advanced techniques for profiling individual physique status and monitoring change for subjects clients and patients. We emphasize that one cannot use dependent variables to predict individual status. They can, however, use PAR Scores (prototypical anthropometric references) as templates to display and quantify physique status for any individual and compare with other individuals using the same grid, or any individual with themselves on previous measurement occasions. When PAR Scores are treated as individual subjects the same profiling techniques can be used elegantly for any number of variables. This technique obviates the need for ANOVA, Factorial analysis, Meta-analysis or any of the ratio based techniques.

Precise and accurate group data, however, are absolutely necessary for building Par Scores for profiling techniques as we shall demonstrate at the 59th annual meeting of the American College of Sport Medicine and the 3rd International Congress of Exercise is Medicine in San Francisco CA, 29 May to 3 June 2012. For the 14th year in a row we will be demonstrators with our multilingual team of six.

We accept that Innovation is mostly a matter of seeing similarities from different perspectives and making mental conjunctions. Creativity is doing something about it.

Our polyhedron organizational plan is explained in the Rosscraft symbolism as attached. We design and manufacture instruments with supporting publications and software for the NOW generation. We try to keep pace with their ideas and aspirations in science and the health professions and support their future endeavor.

We trust this information will enable you to use the space available to inform scientists and health professionals who, we are, what we do, and why we welcome their participation and leadership.
